Yes, we could’ve created a brand new franchise for these women, but if you’re going to do a remake, this looks to me like the right way to go about it. The trailer doesn’t give us much in way of story, but it does promise excellent chemistry and a cast who is long overdue for the spotlight. In addition, it excites me that, for all intents and purposes, we’re getting a female superhero film that looks really fun, and with director Paul Feig involved, could stick it to the misogynist haters out there.
I don’t really have much else to say, but I’m really excited and behind this 100%! Ghostbusters drops July 15th, 2016.
