Spoilers if you haven’t seen the last season!
Last season of Penny Dreadful frankly blew me away. It’s the best horror show that no one is watching, and one that uses deep character study to explore the monstrosity of humanity. Every cast member is stellar (with Eva Green leading the charge), and where the show left off was a masterstroke of brilliance. As this trailer shows however, what could’ve been a devastatingly dark conclusion, appears to be the beginning of a new phase.
This latest trailer promises to push the team further as they find their way back to each other. With so much lost, what can they possible have left to fight for?
