It’s my humble opinion that David Cronenberg’s The Fly is one of the best love stories ever put on film. While the gross-out gore and creature effects are second to none, it’s the relationship between Seth and Veronica that’s always haunted me – honestly, there haven’t been any prints to capitalize on that until now. Leave it to Matt Ryan Tobin to totally get what I totally love about the Cronenberg’s twisted masterpiece; this is as good as its going to get, riffing off of the romantic Gone with the Wind poster to end up with something creepy, smart and perfect.
