You didn’t expect Star Trek’s 50th Anniversary or Star Trek Beyond to go by without a nod from the Poster Posse did you? Well, they delivered in full, celebrating the series’ legacy and the new film – and I was even lucky enough to be a part of it. There are a ton of guest artists this time around, but all of our favorites are still there too.
For my piece, I wanted something very simple, timeless and with the old crew, because they’re still my favorite. I wanted to somehow meld them together as a unit and play around with their shapes, iconography and negative space, because if there’s one thing they represent, it’s unity. I’m proud of the final result, had tons of fun making it, and I’m hugely honored to be a part of the celebration.
