Artist Rob Csiki’s given us great posters for Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Hellboy and others, and his latest piece is for none other than the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange. It’s no question that we’re all excited to see how the character has made his jump to film, and Csiki’s art isn’t helping to make the wait any easier.
I love the hyper-real technique that Csiki employs, giving us a composition that is literally breaking out beyond borders and hinting at the mind-bending world that’s to come. You gotta love his use of lighting and mood too, with an aesthetic that feels at home with classic fantasy art, while still feeling modern.
