Here’s a recently unearthed, hour-long documentary about the making of Possession that you won’t want to miss if you’re a fan. The doc was originally a supplement on an out-of-print DVD for the film, but you can conveniently find it at the link below when you’re ready.
It’s no secret that the director was one of the most important cinematic voices, and his work is a reflection of that, specifically Possession, which is operating on so many levels and only becomes more insightful the more you think about it. This short film is a look at his thought process, all the things that had to happen for the film to exist and about how the film is a limitless collection of ideas with seemingly endless treasures.
