If you’re a Guillermo del Toro fan, then you’ve no doubt wished you could step into his Bleak House – the director’s home which operates as both a base for his creative endeavors and a massive collection of over 700 collectibles and original pieces of art. Now, LACMA is pretty much making that dream come true with the exhibit, Guillermo del Toro: At Home With Monsters.
The exhibit will feature about 500 items from del Toro’s prized artifacts, and all set up in a way that takes us through his creative process. Using paintings, maquettes, concept art, drawings artifacts and more, the exhibit will be organized thematically, starting with visions of death and the afterlife, explorations of magic, occultism, horror, monsters and finally, innocence and redemption.
It all goes dow from July 31 – November 27th, visit LACMA for updates and info. Below are a few photos courtesy of Remezcla.
